Brownies

2nd Mearns Brownies

Brownies follow a programme called the Brownie Adventure, which reflects the exciting opportunites, challenges and fun that we have.  We meet every week and take part in a range of activities including games, songs, arts and crafts, badge work, trips and pack holidays. Everything a Brownie does is an adventure - its a world of excitement, new interests and friends.

7th Mearns Brownies

Any girl aged between 7-10 years can be a Brownie. As a Brownie you are a member of Girlguiding UK - the largest voluntary organisation for girls and women in the country. Places are in high demand and it is essential that names of girls wishing to join are placed on the waiting list well in advance.  We meet on a Wednesday evening between 6.30 - 8.00pm for fun, games, arts and crafts with an emphasis on sharing and kindness.  The Brownies went on their first pack holiday and sleepover this year.  They look forward to many more exciting activities.
