The Choir at The Cross is the choir of The Church At the Cross!
A small ensemble of twelve singers, the choir leads the congregation in singing every Sunday.
The choir is under new direction, led by Kirstin Campbell, a student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
The development of the choir in the past few months has focused on exploring the choir’s harmonic possibilities through wide range of choral music, including works by Mozart and Rutter, and we held a special performance on Easter Sunday.
The Choir at the Cross held a special Open Rehearsal Event as part of Mearns Community Week.
The choir rehearses every Thursday evening at 7pm in the Church. Rehearsals are a social and enjoyable, as well as musical, experience.
New members are always welcomed and encouraged – no matter what experience/ability they have! And we realise that people lead very busy lives, so if you can only come every fortnight, that’s okay too!
