Rainbow Guides

Rainbow Guides are the youngest section of the Girl Guide Association, aged 5 – 7 years of age.  They meet on a Monday or Tuesday evening from 6pm - 7pm.

Rainbows enjoy playing games, singing songs and making arts and crafts. All the local Rainbow units have met on a number of occasions and enjoyed many activities.

Rainbows try to be kind and helpful at home, at school, at Rainbows and with friends. Each Rainbow makes a promise and receives a badge. The promise is, "I will do my best to love my God and to be kind and helpful".

Rainbows follow a programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw which involves a wide range of games and activiities.  Being a rainbow is all about having fun, making new friends and learning new things.
